Why the new Iphone Touch will increase WI-Fi coverage in India
Suddenly, there's a reason to have Wi-Fi access, heck even Internet access at home.
1. the new Ipod is THE Tablet Computer. Suddenly anybody can access the internet very easily, no switching on the computer, no long boot times, no grappling with Windows error messages or virus attacks. no need to worry about hard disk crashes, slow load times etc etc.
2. Music + internet is what every teenager digs anyway, now all you need is a wi-fi connection and you're on. and at the price of the Ipod, you can afford two for the same price as a computer.
3. They've announced with Starbucks, but there's now a reason for every Mcdonalds, Barista, etc to offer Wi-fi. This alone will increaee internet penetration in India.
4. lots of people get introduced to computers in the form of the ipod, and the internet from there.
