Guess it's the old 1999 days back again, nobody has a clue to monetizing online video but they comnand a premium, how far will ad supported models go, as currently no there is no company offering ads for user generated videos.Incidentally this is one of the ideas on the Business 2.0 $100 million giveaway list.

I think it would be revolve around a mix of online storage, subscription, ads, and premium content, you use the free videos to get people to your site and since most of this would be fairly poor quality clips in terms of quality and content, people would them be willing to pay a premium for good content, higher quality/resolution clips.

Good Content always wins !
